In collaboration with the French Chamber in Hong Kong, this event will explore the city’s unique strengths under the "one country, two systems" framework, its commitment to the rule of law, and its growing role in cross-border legal cooperation and international arbitration.

Dr Cheung Kwok-kwan, SBS, JP, Deputy Secretary for Justice, and Ms Peggy Au-Yeung, Principal Government Counsel will present the initiatives by the Hong Kong Department of Justice, which will then be decrypted by Prof Giuliano Castellano, Associate Professor of Law, The University of Hong Kong and Heidi Chui, Partner, Stevenson, Wong & Co., from both an academic and a practitioner perspective in a panel discussion.

This panel will be moderated by Jean-Remi Lopez, Founder of Xotl.
