Cross Chambers Sourcing Committee: Trade Risk Insights and Networking Cocktail (Selected sectors and committee members only)
Join us on Thursday, March 26, for this exclusive in‑person Cross Chambers Sourcing Committee Meeting, presented in collaboration with 6 other business chambers in Hong Kong: the American Chamber, the British Chamber, the Canadian Chamber, the Dutch Chamber, the German Chamber, and the French Chamber.
This event is open solely to members of the Sourcing, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Manufacturing Committees from the co-organising chambers.
The event will begin with an expert talk from Hassan Omaish, CEO, Hong Kong, Taiwan & South Korea, Allianz Trade on Trade Risks in Asia. He will share an overview of today’s key challenges in international trade, from exchange‑rate fluctuations and political uncertainty to regulatory shifts, and will highlight practical strategies to navigate and mitigate these risks, including hedging, supplier diversification, trend monitoring, contingency planning and managing delayed receivables to secure healthy cash flow.
The session will be followed by a networking cocktail, offering the opportunity to exchange experiences, insights and best practices with peers from across the industry.

Tackling Corporate Banking Challenges in Hong Kong and Beyond
The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macao is pleased to invite you to this interactive breakfast talk, in collaboration with Fidinam, on Thursday, April 23, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the ICC Office.
In this session, we will explore the current realities of corporate banking in Hong Kong and internationally. The discussion will cover common challenges companies face when opening and maintaining business bank accounts, how banks evaluate corporate clients, and what businesses can do to better prepare before approaching a financial institution. During the event, Guido Abbati (Desk Manager at Fidinam Hong Kong) will introduce Fidesion, a global platform designed to help businesses approach banking decisions with greater clarity. Participants will also see a live demonstration of the Banking Success Assessment, a structured tool that helps companies understand their banking approval potential based on factors such as company structure, jurisdiction, ownership, and business activity.
Beyond account opening, the session will also touch on the operational side of corporate banking, including treasury and payment execution, areas where many international businesses seek reliable support to manage payments, payroll, suppliers, and other financial obligations efficiently.
