Venchi is currently looking for a strong talent to support Venchi International expansion in Asia-Pacific area, handling Retail Distributors in ASEAN countries and Travel Retail Accounts in whole Asia Pacific. The role will support the opening of new markets, be responsible for counter operations and liaise with Travel Retail retailer at the assigned Travel Retail locations.
TRAVEL RETAIL & WHOLESALES APAC
Work closely with the existing TR retailer/operators, wholesalers/distributors and support the growth to reach the Sales target
Negotiate sales deal with the operators (tariffs, contracts, distribution, A&P) and ensure the implementation of our sales strategy
Provide timely commercial proposal and proactively look for new commercial opportunities suitable to company positioning in assigned geographic area, including operators in Asean, Greater China, Australia, Korea and Japan
Build effective account relationships with buyers and related managers
Control and follow the purchase orders working closely with Finance and Supply Chain team
Inventory management, ensure orders are processed and delivered on time
Creation and delivery of business proposals included of proposed assortment, sales tools, visual merchandising, price information and targets
Monitor client’s credit status and review with Finance team
Provide the training and merchandising information with the clients
Assist the International Team in identifying and organising fairs and exhibitions
Assist the Business Development Manager in strategic business reviews
Developing and structuring and providing new key information on merchandising and sales trends in existing stores
IDENTIFY NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITES
Work closely with the Head of Business Development in the development and expansion of new markets and opportunities in both wholesale and Travel Retail
Work closely with the prospect/travel retail operators/wholesalers to construct business plans, set sales targets, manage targets and review customer profile and category contribution per location to customize assortment
Work with Trainer to develop, manage and facilitate training
Monitor the merchandising, assortments and planograms are respected in the different locations. Ensuring availability of sufficient inventory, testers and printed materials on counter
Job Requirements
4 to 10 years of work experience. Retail and/or Food background is a plus
Graduate in Economics/Foreign Languages/Business Administration
Excellent proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Excellent proficiency in English. Mandarin and/or Cantonese proficiency is a plus
Experience abroad (12+ months) is a plus
Proven excellent numerical skills and strong commercial attitude
Ability to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends, and to travel extensively (up to 40% of the time)
Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to analyse problems and provide quick and effective solutions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
