Tackling Corporate Banking Challenges in Hong Kong and Beyond

  • Italian Chamber of Commerce Office Unit 1102-03, 11/F, 299QRC, 299 Queen's Road Central, Sheung Wan (map)

The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macao is pleased to invite you to this interactive breakfast talk, in collaboration with Fidinam, on Thursday, April 23, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the ICC Office.

In this session, we will explore the current realities of corporate banking in Hong Kong and internationally. The discussion will cover common challenges companies face when opening and maintaining business bank accounts, how banks evaluate corporate clients, and what businesses can do to better prepare before approaching a financial institution. During the event, Guido Abbati (Desk Manager at Fidinam Hong Kong) will introduce Fidesion, a global platform designed to help businesses approach banking decisions with greater clarity.

Participants will also see a live demonstration of the Banking Success Assessment, a structured tool that helps companies understand their banking approval potential based on factors such as company structure, jurisdiction, ownership, and business activity.

Beyond account opening, the session will also touch on the operational side of corporate banking, including treasury and payment execution, areas where many international businesses seek reliable support to manage payments, payroll, suppliers, and other financial obligations efficiently.

The breakfast talk is particularly relevant for international entrepreneurs, business owners, finance managers, and decision-makers who are navigating complex onboarding processes, evolving compliance requirements, and cross-border banking setups in Hong Kong and beyond.
