TRUE ITALIAN TASTE – Authentic Italian Table
TRUE ITALIAN TASTE – Authentic Italian Table
The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macao is pleased to present the yearly event of “The Authentic Italian Table”, a culinary initiative that began with the True Italian Taste project as part of The Extraordinary Italian Taste campaign.
The campaign is promoted and financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and implemented by Assocamerestero in collaboration with the Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad.
True Italian Taste is a global initiative whose objective is to raise awareness of the benefits derived from the use of authentic Italian agri-food products, to promote the ‘Made in Italy’ while also fighting the so-called ‘Italian Sounding’ phenomenon. This refers to the phenomenon of using words, images and geographical references that are evocative of Italy on products that have no connection to Italy.
True Italian Taste intends to spread a wider knowledge of the characteristics of typicalities, origins and other nutritional aspects which are PDO and PGI certified.
On May 18, the Italian Chamber will be hosting a gastronomy lunch experience of Italian sustainable cuisine curated by renowned Neapolitan Chef Antimo Maria Merone at Estro.
Through this exclusive event, guests will be taken on a gastronomic journey, uncovering Chef Antimo’s Neapolitan roots while showcasing his innate creativity and progressive style while also highlighting the importance of using authentic Italian products.

ReThink HK – Sustainable Business Forum & Solutions Expo
ReThink HK – Sustainable Business Forum & Solutions Expo
ReThink is Hong Kong’s best attended and most ambitious business event for sustainable development. The two-day conference and expo, which will host 3,000+ attendees in October 2022, have been designed specifically for Hong Kong business leaders, sustainability practitioners, and those responsible for researching and resourcing new sustainable strategies.
The challenges of reducing GHG emissions and securing global net-zero emissions in order to protect, and then restore, the balance of global ecosystems become more and more critical each and every day.
It is only through cross-sector, private and public collaboration that the scale of change needed can be achieved – ReThink HK exists to accelerate that change in Hong Kong.
ReThink HK wants to hand future generations a realistic chance of thriving in a city that is in harmony with nature, uses resources efficiently and contributes towards a low-carbon and circular economy.
By changing the way we consume, invest and operate our businesses we can reduce our impact on the environment and improve the lives of all through collective change and shared responsibility – we have to act now and accelerate the rate of change. We can help demonstrate what Hong Kong is really capable of, but the opportunity is precious and must not be wasted.
The annual ecosystem event operates under license from the business and sustainability communities that it is privileged to support – uniting stakeholders, demonstrating the business case and strategies for change against a backdrop of innovation and the sustainable solutions needed to achieve a circular economy and strive for a carbon-neutral Hong Kong before 2050.
