The Honourable Mrs Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, will deliver her Policy Address to the Legislative Council in October.

Ms Anne Chiou, Director of The Economist Corporate Network in Hong Kong

Anne Chiou brings extensive regulatory, business and policy as well as non-profit expertise. Prior to joining the Economist Group, she was Head of Programs for Business and Policy at the Asia Society Hong Kong Center.  She also worked extensively with senior banking executives as a regulator at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong. Anne also formerly worked with multiple fintech start-ups, advising them of regulatory trends in Asia. She obtained a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Pomona College and a Master in Public Policy at Harvard University.

Mr Marco D’Amore, CEO of Orcom C&A

Marco D’Amore joined Orcom C&A as CFO in 2012 and became the CEO in 2014. He leads Orcom C&A in Asia and overviews the administration of 4 offices and 60 employees in the region, expertise in strategic advice in China implementation.

Marco is a US Certified Public Accountant (CPA), expertise in audit and advisory services in the Food & Consumer Goods, Hospitality, Healthcare and Sports Industries. With his background of working at KPMG as a Senior Manager in the Switzerland corporate department for 11 years, Marco has broad experience in specific business issues related to different accounting and reporting frameworks (US GAAP, IFRS, Swiss GAAPRPC). He obtained his Executive Master in Business Administration at IMD Business school in Switzerland with honours in 2018.

Mr Nicolas Coster, Managing Partner of Coster Associates

This “Italian way” has succeeded, through a complex and hesitant process of industrial innovation and new technologies, to develop a culture of independent and multi-faceted design, combining the rich tradition of craftsmanship in the country with an aspiration often fiercely opposed to modernity.

Boffi | de Padova, in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce, presents a panel discussion with leading Italian architects and designers of Hong Kong, engaging them in a roundtable talk about the new trends in Italian design, as well as the design industry in Hong Kong.

The panel discussion will be followed by drinks and light refreshments.
