As we live in a fast-paced city, everyone is living a busy life trying to manage a work-life balance. We pursue and maintain a healthy lifestyle, including working out regularly, taking multivitamin supplements and adopting different diets.

In view of this, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macao is delighted to invite you to explore the Mediterranean diet with an after-work talk plus networking event.

In collaboration with Campo Marzio, a contemporary brand from Rome that specialises in leather; partnering with Pazta, an authentic Italian Restaurant and sponsored by Pantry Centrale, a premium Italian grocery store. The Mediterranean diet is ranked as the “No.1 Best Overall Diet” for 4 consecutive years on U.S News and World Report

Our guests will learn more about the Mediterranean diet by learning the nutritional value of the diet with a registered dietitian, and how to incorporate the diet into their hustling modern lifestyle. They will also have a taste of some signature ingredients of the Mediterranean diet, i.e. olive oil, cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, olives and balsamic vinegar provided by Pantry Centrale.

What’s more? Guests can mingle after the after-work talk with drinks and canépes provided by Pazta. Don’t miss out on this engaging event to learn more about the Mediterranean diet and enjoy the night!

Monash University Master of Dietetics 

Erica Poon is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and a Registered Dietitian in Hong Kong. Graduated from Monash University, she completed her extensive dietetic training with a Bachelor of Nutrition Science (Scholars Program) and a Master of Dietetics in Australia. 

She is enthusiastic about promoting healthy living to the public. She has experience in working for non-profit organisations, designing healthy recipes and promoting public health. She has also practised at public hospitals in Australia, providing professional medical nutrition therapy to patients. 

Recently, she has been focusing on sharing evidence-based, fun and easy-to-read nutrition information to the public as @nutrition_ah_ga on Instagram. She aims to inspire and help people in eating wisely and living their best life. She is now a dietitian at NutriWise Nutrition Consultancy. 

Her specialities include weight management, cardiovascular health management, chronic disease management and the low FODMAP diet for irritable bowel syndrome.
