Lunch Seminar: Employment Background Check Trends and Outlook for 2020

During these last years, employment background screening has been evolving with the latest technologies, compliance standards and processes to keep up with the ever-changing global laws and regulations as well as the hiring managers’ needs. In this seminar, the key executives and managers from eeVoices Limited, one of the leading employment background screening organizations in Asia, will share their insights in different areas of employment screening.

More specifically, the following topics will be brought into focus: the upcoming trends and practices for 2020, the latest application of technologies, the industry standards and protocols in the employment background check, and finally the practice of employment screening in the Greater China region.

 

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Christen Ma, BBA – Director of Client Relations, eeVoices Limited

Ma possesses over 10-years’ experience in employment screening in the APAC region. He is experienced in assisting clients to implement thorough employment screening programs and protocols through their organization across different countries. His team currently oversees clients from 10+ countries globally assisting them with their needs. Ma completed his BBA degree at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada, prior to returning to Asia. In this session, Ma will share his insights and trend outlook as to how employment background check will evolve in 2020 to assist employers in their people decisions.

 

Chung Cheung – Senior Regional Manager, Employment Screening Division, eeVoices Limited

Since 2014, Cheung has been working in Employment Screening Division of eeVoices Limited, a leading employment background check organization in the Asia Pacific region. Cheung currently oversees the entire operations of the Greater China region, with key responsibilities in supporting key accounts as well as leading his team of Account Managers and Consultants for different screening needs. Cheung was graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Social Science degree in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In this session, Cheung will share his insights and best practices in employment screening for the Greater China region.

 

Esmond Chan – Client Relations Manager, eeVoices Limited

Originated from Toronto Canada, Chan has been working closely with hiring managers from a variety of industries in their employment screening programs. Working at the Headquarters of eeVoices, Chan has been leading different initiatives to improve the daily operations and helping the team to achieve different industry standards. In this session, Chan will be sharing some of the industry standards, examples and best practices in the employment background check.
