Wen Han Choy – Executive Director, Private Banking International at Bank Julius Baer
Wen Han has been a private banker for over a decade, first with UBS AG and now with Bank Julius Baer in Singapore. Prior to banking, he worked for Singapore Economic Development Board from 2003 to 2006, both in Logistics & Transport Group as well as the Biomedical Sciences Group, promoting Singapore as an investment destination for foreign direct investment. Wen Han holds a Master of Science degree in Real Estate from the National University of Singapore (NUS), a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering and Bachelor of Arts in French Commercial Studies from the University of Illinois, USA. He is fluent in French, Italian, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Mark Matthews – Head Research, Asia at Bank Julius Baer
Mark Matthews is currently Head of Research Asia for Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd., an appointment he has held since June 2011. With over 25 years of experience in finance and investment, Mark has held senior research and sales positions in various financial institutions, including ING Barings Securities, Standard & Poor’s and Merrill Lynch. Currently based in Singapore, he has lived in Asia for most of his life, including in Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan and Sri Lanka. Mark holds a Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business, York University and a Bachelor of Arts from Université Laval, Quebec City, Canada. He is fluent in French and Chinese.
